Job Description

A reputable hotel is looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to join its security team. This role is ideal for an individual who can maintain constant surveillance, identify potential security concerns, and respond promptly to incidents while ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and hotel assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to ensure continuous surveillance of hotel premises.
• Identify, report, and document suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and prepare detailed reports when required.
• Coordinate with security personnel and hotel management during emergencies or security incidents.
• Review recorded footage to assist with investigations and incident resolution.
• Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and promptly report technical faults.
• Control access to surveillance systems while maintaining confidentiality of recorded information.
• Follow hotel security procedures, emergency protocols, and applicable privacy regulations.
• Conduct routine system checks and ensure surveillance coverage remains uninterrupted.
• Assist with other security-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Security Management, Criminology, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar surveillance role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, video management software, and access control systems.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize unusual activities quickly.
• Good report writing and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to remain alert and focused during extended monitoring periods.
• Basic computer proficiency and confidence using digital surveillance equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
