CCTV Operator

Job Description

Are you observant, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment? We are looking for a vigilant CCTV Operator to join our hotel security team. In this role, you will monitor surveillance systems, respond to security incidents, and help protect our guests, employees, and property while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems continuously during assigned shifts.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents, observations, and security events.
• Coordinate with the security team and management during emergencies or investigations.
• Review and retrieve CCTV footage when required for incident reporting.
• Ensure surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report technical faults promptly.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with hotel security procedures.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security alerts.
• Maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage and sensitive information.
• Comply with hotel policies, security protocols, and relevant legal requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security operations is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar security role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems, access control systems, and security procedures.
• Strong observational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for monitoring software and report preparation.
