CCTV Operator

Job Description

A busy and modern restaurant is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to help maintain a safe, secure, and well-monitored environment for guests, staff, and operations. This role is ideal for someone observant, calm under pressure, and committed to ensuring daily activities run smoothly without disruption.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds across all restaurant areas, including dining space, kitchen entry points, storage rooms, and exterior surroundings
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety risks, or policy violations immediately
• Maintain accurate logs of daily surveillance activities and incidents
• Coordinate with security personnel and management during emergencies or unusual situations
• Review recorded footage when required for investigations or incident clarification
• Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report technical faults promptly
• Support loss prevention efforts and help maintain a safe dining environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail with excellent observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during long monitoring hours
• Basic understanding of surveillance systems and recording equipment
• Good written communication skills for incident reporting
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and discretion
