We are seeking an experienced and organised Catering Manager to oversee and coordinate catering operations while ensuring exceptional food quality and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and supervise all catering operations and special events.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Develop catering menus in collaboration with chefs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients from initial enquiry through event completion.
• Prepare catering proposals, quotations, and event schedules.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Manage staffing requirements for catered events, including scheduling and supervision.
• Oversee inventory, equipment, and catering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Track budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability.
• Resolve client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Identify opportunities to grow catering sales and expand the customer base.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing catering operations or large-scale food service within a restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with event planning and coordination.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational costs effectively.
• Proficiency in scheduling, reporting, and basic computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
