Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the café and support team members throughout each shift.
• Lead, coach, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor food and beverage quality to ensure consistency and presentation standards.
• Coordinate staff schedules and assign daily responsibilities.
• Train new employees on café procedures, customer service, and safety practices.
• Manage inventory, place supply orders, and minimize waste.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve concerns promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist with cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily reporting.
• Support the implementation of promotions and sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a café, coffee shop, or food service environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and operational best practices.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy service periods.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and basic cash management.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and delivering exceptional service.
