Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily cafe operations to ensure efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve high performance.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support employees to maintain excellent service standards.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Manage inventory levels, supplier orders, and stock control procedures.
• Prepare staff schedules while maintaining appropriate labor costs.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Control operating expenses and support the achievement of financial targets.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure the cafe remains clean, organized, and fully operational.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a cafe or a similar food and beverage operation.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and daily operational performance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
