Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop to ensure efficient service.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to maintain high performance.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support staff development.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Manage stock levels, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace regulations.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliations, and operational reports.
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a coffee shop, café, or similar food service operation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience with inventory management and stock control.
• Ability to manage budgets, sales targets, and operational costs.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
