Cafe Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, hands on Cafe Assistant to join our team and help create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, love great coffee, and take pride in excellent service, you might be exactly who we are looking for.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a genuine smile and assist them with orders

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and light meals according to standards

• Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately

• Keep the service area, seating, and counter clean and organized

• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels

• Support the barista and kitchen team during busy periods

• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or customer service role is an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
