Bartender

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our bar team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lively setting, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to every guest.
• Recommend beverages and menu items based on guest tastes and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and workstations.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Verify the legal drinking age of guests and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages throughout each shift.
• Work closely with servers and other team members to ensure prompt service.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar bar service role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale system experience is an advantage.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bar supplies when required.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and time management skills.
