Job Description

Our bar is looking for a dependable and energetic Barback to support the bar team and help keep service running efficiently. The successful candidate will work behind the scenes to ensure bartenders have the supplies, clean equipment, and organised workspace needed to deliver excellent service. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced bar environment and takes pride in teamwork, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Restock beverages, glassware, ice, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Assist bartenders with preparation and service during busy periods.
• Keep the bar, storage areas, and workstations clean and organised.
• Collect and wash used glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the bar team when supplies are running low.
• Receive, move, and properly store beverage deliveries.
• Dispose of waste and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Follow bar safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Support the team with other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or similar service environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cleanliness, food safety, and workplace hygiene.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Good physical stamina and willingness to perform hands-on duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
