We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the bar team, maintain exceptional service standards, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar and ensure smooth service.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate bartenders and support staff.
• Develop and maintain beverage menus, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, ordering, and beverage costs.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food and beverage safety.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve service concerns professionally.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.
• Manage staff schedules, shifts, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and operational regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate favourable purchasing terms where appropriate.
• Prepare operational reports and monitor budgets and expenses.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Food and Beverage Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience in bar management or a senior bar operations role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage service.
• Proven experience supervising and developing a service team.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and purchasing.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage busy shifts while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and relevant safety regulations.
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach.
