Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, train, supervise, and motivate bartenders and bar staff.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently.
• Reduce waste and control beverage costs to maximise profitability.
• Develop drink menus and collaborate on seasonal promotions and special events.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and health regulations.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs effectively.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the bar.
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliations, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverages, cocktails, wines, spirits, and beer.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven experience in inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems and preparing operational reports.
