Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, motivate, and schedule bar staff.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and oversee inventory control.
• Develop beverage menus and introduce new drinks and promotions.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served consistently to quality standards.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and reconcile daily sales.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Work closely with suppliers to maintain adequate stock and negotiate where appropriate.
• Monitor equipment and arrange maintenance when required.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior bar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of bar operations, beverage service, and inventory management.
• Experience with stock control, ordering, and cost management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience handling cash, preparing reports, and monitoring sales performance.
