Our hotel is seeking an experienced and highly organized Banquet Manager to oversee the planning and execution of exceptional banquet events. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and is passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences. You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure every event is executed seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee banquet events from setup to completion.
• Supervise banquet staff, assigning duties and ensuring efficient event execution.
• Work closely with the sales, kitchen, and front office teams to deliver successful events.
• Meet with clients to discuss event requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Monitor event setup, décor, service standards, and breakdown activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Manage banquet inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare staff schedules based on event requirements.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally during events.
• Monitor banquet costs and support departmental budget objectives.
• Train, coach, and evaluate banquet team members to maintain service excellence.
• Ensure all function rooms are presented to the highest standard before each event.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing banquet operations or large-scale events in a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Proficiency in banquet management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
