A well-established hotel is looking for an experienced and highly organized Banquet Manager to lead the planning and execution of exceptional events. The successful candidate will oversee banquet operations, maintain service excellence, and ensure every function is executed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise banquet events from setup through completion.
• Lead, train, and motivate the banquet team to deliver outstanding service.
• Work closely with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Meet with clients to confirm event requirements, schedules, and special requests.
• Monitor event setups to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
• Manage staffing schedules based on event requirements and business needs.
• Oversee inventory, banquet equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for all functions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly during events.
• Monitor banquet budgets, control costs, and prepare operational reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or professional certification in Hotel Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing banquet operations, events, or food and beverage services in a hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple events while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of banquet service standards, event planning, and food safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel or banquet management software is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
