Banquet Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations, coordinate successful events, and ensure every occasion hosted in our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and supervise banquet events from initial preparation through completion.
• Coordinate with clients, kitchen teams, service staff, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations.
• Manage banquet schedules, floor arrangements, service standards, and event requirements.
• Lead, train, and motivate banquet staff to deliver professional service.
• Monitor food presentation, service quality, and guest satisfaction during events.
• Maintain accurate records of event details, inventory, and operational reports.
• Ensure banquet areas are properly prepared, maintained, and presented according to hotel standards.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource management for banquet operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and service procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing banquet operations within a hotel, restaurant, or event environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Good knowledge of event coordination, food service standards, and guest relations.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to service excellence.
• Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience using scheduling, reporting, or hospitality management systems is an advantage.
