Banquet Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets, private dining functions, and special events. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee banquet and private event operations from setup to completion.
• Coordinate with kitchen, service, and event teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Meet with clients to confirm event details, menus, schedules, and special requests.
• Supervise banquet staff, assign duties, and maintain high service standards.
• Monitor event setups to ensure they meet quality and presentation expectations.
• Manage staffing schedules based on event requirements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally during events.
• Monitor banquet inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare post-event reports and recommend improvements for future functions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Manager, Events Manager, or in a similar food service leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of banquet operations, event coordination, and restaurant service standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and event planning.
• Calm and effective under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Professional appearance and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
