A successful restaurant is looking for a highly organized and service-driven Banquet Manager to oversee the planning and execution of private events, celebrations, and corporate functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating memorable dining experiences, leading event teams, and ensuring every banquet is delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise banquet and special event operations.
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and expectations.
• Develop banquet schedules and assign duties to service staff.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Inspect banquet rooms before, during, and after events to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor event budgets, inventory, and operational costs.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate banquet team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
• Prepare event reports and recommend improvements for future functions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing banquets, events, or restaurant operations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good understanding of banquet service standards and event coordination.
• Proficiency in scheduling, reporting, and basic computer applications.
