Our cozy cafe is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Baker to join the kitchen team. If you love working with dough, enjoy experimenting with flavours, and take pride in beautiful baked goods, this could be your perfect spot.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and snacks
• Follow recipes while also bringing creativity to new baked offerings
• Ensure all baked goods are fresh, well-presented, and consistent in quality
• Manage ingredient preparation, mixing, proofing, and baking processes
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the baking area
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages in time
• Work closely with the cafe team to meet daily customer demand

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a baker or pastry assistant is an advantage
• Good understanding of baking techniques and ingredient functions
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and also work independently
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Team spirit with a calm and steady approach in busy hours
