Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach team members to maintain high service standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and attendance monitoring.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with inventory management, stock control, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and support accurate daily reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Help recruit, onboard, and train new employees.
• Support the achievement of sales targets while controlling operational costs.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operating procedures.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash management.
• Ability to analyse sales performance and implement operational improvements.
• Professional appearance with a positive, proactive attitude.
