Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and service-driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring guests receive an outstanding dining experience. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will support operational excellence while fostering a positive and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Supervise and motivate front-of-house and food service teams.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Support staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Help control inventory, stock levels, and ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue targets.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or food and beverage environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
