Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

A well established restaurant is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support daily operations and help deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day to day operations of the restaurant
• Supervise and support restaurant staff during service
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently
• Help recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards
• Assist with scheduling staff and managing shift coverage
• Support inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
• Monitor operational costs and contribute to achieving revenue targets
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations
• Prepare operational reports and assist in implementing service improvements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food service, and beverage management
• Experience with inventory control and cost management
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Proficiency in point of sale and restaurant management systems is an advantage
• Good organizational and time management skills
