Assistant Barista

Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Barista to join our coffee shop team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn the art of coffee preparation while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
• Welcome customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Support the barista team during busy service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
• Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
