Assistant Barista

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
• Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies as needed.
• Support senior baristas during busy periods.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Help with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation methods is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
