Accounts Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of wages where required.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditure against financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate audits and provide supporting financial documentation.
• Generate financial forecasts and reports for management decision-making.
• Maintain accounting software and improve financial processes where necessary.
• Work closely with department supervisors to monitor costs and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Manager, Senior Accountant, or in a similar financial management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced coffee shop environment.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance is an advantage.
• Professional accounting certification is an added advantage.
