Love working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly? We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our coffee shop team. In this role, you’ll help manage financial records, track expenses, support budgeting, and ensure day-to-day accounts stay accurate while contributing to a well-run, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
• Prepare invoices, payment schedules, and financial reports
• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and petty cash management
• Reconcile accounts and assist with payroll processing
• Track inventory-related costs and supplier payments
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards
• Collaborate with management to improve financial efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel or spreadsheets
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Good organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience in hospitality, retail, café, or food service environments is an advantage
