Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are a busy cafe committed to serving fresh food and beverages with speed, care, and consistency. Our Delivery Driver will play an important role in ensuring customers receive their orders accurately, safely, and on time while representing the cafe with professionalism and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverages, and other cafe orders promptly and safely.
• Verify orders before departure to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• Handle food and beverages carefully to maintain quality during transit.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service upon delivery.
• Collect payments when required and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organised, and in good working condition.
• Report delivery issues, delays, vehicle concerns, or customer feedback to the cafe management.
• Follow all applicable road safety and food handling requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle used.
• Previous delivery, driving, courier, or customer service experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads and route planning.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Professional communication and customer service abilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Physically fit enough to handle food orders and delivery packages safely.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
