Public Area Attendant

Job Description

Keep the hotel’s public spaces immaculate, welcoming, and well-presented. We are seeking a reliable Public Area Attendant to maintain high standards of cleanliness across guest-facing areas while ensuring every space reflects the hotel’s commitment to comfort and quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, stairways, and other public areas.
• Replenish toiletries, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities as required.
• Inspect assigned areas and promptly address cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
• Handle cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
• Report damaged fixtures, spills, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures, health standards, and safety guidelines.
• Respond courteously to guest requests while maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to remain active throughout a shift.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and products responsibly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
