Lobby Attendant

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and attentive Lobby Attendant to help maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming hotel lobby. The successful candidate will support guests with basic requests, keep public areas presentable, and work closely with the front office and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the hotel lobby and designated public areas.
• Assist guests with basic directions, information, and general requests.
• Monitor lobby areas and promptly report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns.
• Support the housekeeping team with routine cleaning and replenishment tasks.
• Help keep entrance areas, seating spaces, elevators, and guest-accessible areas neat.
• Assist with luggage or guest belongings when required and within assigned duties.
• Replenish lobby supplies and ensure essential items are readily available.
• Communicate guest concerns or special requests to the appropriate hotel department.
• Follow hotel standards for appearance, cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or hotel management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, cleaning, guest service, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, respectful, and professional approach when interacting with guests.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to remain organized and productive during busy periods.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and perform routine cleaning and support duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn hotel procedures and maintain high service standards.
