Friturier

We are seeking a skilled Friturier who takes pride in preparing perfectly cooked fried dishes while maintaining high food safety and kitchen standards. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment and delivering exceptional meals, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of fried dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate and maintain deep fryers and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor oil quality and replace cooking oil when required to maintain food quality.
• Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature, texture, and appearance.
• Organise and prepare ingredients before service for smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitised workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and reporting ingredient shortages.
• Work closely with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure timely service.
• Support other kitchen sections whenever operational needs require.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Friturier or in a similar kitchen role within a restaurant.
• Professional culinary training or a recognised culinary certificate is preferred.
• Strong understanding of deep frying techniques and food preparation methods.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a busy kitchen.
