Linen Room Attendant

Job Description

Join our hotel team as a Linen Room Attendant and play an important role in maintaining the quality, organization, and availability of linens that support exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in keeping the linen room clean, well-stocked, and efficiently managed while working closely with the housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, count, and store clean linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
• Issue linens and uniforms to designated departments according to established procedures.
• Monitor linen inventory and report shortages, damages, or replacement needs.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe linen room at all times.
• Separate damaged or stained items for repair, rewash, or disposal.
• Assist with stock rotation to ensure efficient linen usage.
• Keep accurate records of linen distribution and inventory levels.
• Support housekeeping operations by ensuring timely availability of clean linens.
• Follow hotel hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the laundry and housekeeping teams to maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Linen Room Attendant, Housekeeping Attendant, Laundry Attendant, or in a similar hotel role is an advantage.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move linen supplies when required.
• Basic inventory management and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
