Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise bartenders and other bar staff.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate team members.
• Develop and maintain beverage menus, including seasonal and signature offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
• Control stock, minimise waste, and prevent product losses.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served consistently to established standards.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and achieve profitability targets.
• Coordinate with kitchen and management teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a busy bar or beverage operation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and beverage service standards.
• Experience with inventory management, stock control, and cost management.
• Strong financial awareness, including budgeting and sales analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain organised and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
