The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and passionate about creating appetizing sandwiches while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other light meals according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and replenished as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors when ingredients require replenishment.
• Label, date, and rotate food items following food safety guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation for other café menu items when required.
• Provide friendly and efficient service while responding to customer requests.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and presented attractively.
• Follow health, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Support the café team during busy service periods and help maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Sandwich Maker, Kitchen Assistant, Food Preparation Worker, or in a similar food service role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
