Are you passionate about creating fresh breads, pastries, and baked treats that keep customers coming back for more? We are seeking a talented and dependable Baker to join our café team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, muffins, and other café products
• Follow recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency and quality
• Measure, mix, shape, and decorate baked items as required
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Manage ingredient inventory and report stock requirements
• Assist in developing seasonal and specialty baked products
• Minimize waste through efficient production practices

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook, or similar role in a café, bakery, or food service establishment
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain product consistency
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift baking supplies
• Culinary or baking certification is an advantage but not required
