Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our café kitchen team. If you enjoy crafting delicious pizzas, working with fresh ingredients, and keeping up with a lively service flow, this role is for you. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas that keep customers coming back for more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to café recipes and standards
• Handle dough preparation, proofing, and portioning with consistency
• Manage toppings, sauces, and ingredient prep to ensure freshness
• Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently during service hours
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all pizza stations
• Monitor stock levels and report ingredient needs to kitchen management
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Maintain speed and quality during peak café hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role
• Good understanding of dough making and pizza oven operation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment
• Strong attention to detail and food presentation
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle busy service periods
• Passion for food and creativity with pizza styles and toppings
