Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who understands meat preparation, values precision, and takes pride in delivering high-quality cuts that support an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cut, trim, and portion different types of meat according to restaurant standards
  • Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness
  • Work closely with chefs to meet daily kitchen and menu requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the butchery and storage areas
  • Inspect meat deliveries and ensure quality and consistency before use
  • Minimize waste through efficient cutting and portion control
  • Follow food safety regulations and internal kitchen procedures at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a butcher or meat prep specialist in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and portion control
  • Understanding of food hygiene, safety standards, and proper storage methods
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good physical stamina and attention to detail
