Head Barista

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee bar team and elevate the daily coffee experience for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes coffee, enjoys training others, and can keep service smooth even during busy rush hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee bar operations and ensure consistent drink quality
• Train, guide, and support baristas in drink preparation and customer service
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment care
• Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bar supplies
• Develop and refine coffee recipes and seasonal drink offerings
• Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally
• Ensure speed and accuracy during peak service periods
• Monitor workflow and improve efficiency behind the bar

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in a senior or lead role
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and manual brewing methods
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff effectively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Basic inventory and stock management experience is an advantage
• Passion for coffee culture and continuous learning
