Head Barista

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee bar team and bring consistency, creativity, and great energy to every cup we serve. If you love coffee culture, enjoy leading people, and take pride in crafting excellent beverages, this role might be a great fit for you. You will be the go-to person for all things coffee, helping shape the daily rhythm of the shop while ensuring customers always leave satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee bar operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks and specialty beverages
• Train, guide, and support baristas to maintain consistent standards
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering of coffee supplies and ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment care across the coffee station
• Engage with customers, handle feedback, and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Support menu development with creative drink ideas and seasonal specials

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista, with proven skill in espresso preparation
• Strong understanding of coffee brewing methods, milk texturing, and drink presentation
• Leadership ability with experience guiding or mentoring team members
• Good communication skills and a calm, customer-friendly attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Passion for coffee and willingness to keep learning and improving craft skills
